We found ourselves a new sponsor: MacBeth Footwear!!!
Macbeth Footwear was founded in 2002 by Tom Delonge of ANGELS AND AIRWAVES, formerly of BLINK-182, to create casual, fashion-forward products that reflect the attitude and lifestyle of the music culture and community within Southern California. Macbeth is the first footwear company to use music as its anchor, combining the input of over 30 bands for its first footwear products and is also reflected in their recently launched Studio Projects; a series of collaborations between Macbeth and their family of Artists. Macbeth also has an extensive line of vegan shoes to support those that live a more conscious lifestyle.
We are very happy to have them in the AUC family. You can find their footwear and shirts in Dutch stores soon, to start at the amazing Independent Outlet. Of course you also have to check MacBeth's own website here.
Another thing worth mentioning is another AUC TOUR!
Sam has been extremely busy the last couple of weeks with the new European tour of Canadian hardcore band CURSED.
It's going to be a 4 week tour in which they will play 26 shows in 11 different countries. Please check the tours section for details.
More info about the band and their new album "III" will be added to this website very soon. For now you can go to the Reflections Record website to check it all out and pre-order the new album.
Last but not least: keep checking our website on a regular basis to make sure you don't miss out on any shows!!! I you aren't on our mailinglist, please subscribe to it and also be our "friend" on myspace: www.myspace.com/amsterdamundergroundcollective

Hey everyone,
The show of LUCIFER STAR MACHINE, ALL ON BLACK and DEAD END BOYS tomorrow is CANCELLED!!!
DEAD END BOYS was double booked by their tour booker and you can find LUCIFER STAR MACHINE's statement down here.
ALL ON BLACK will play with LEZ ZEPPELIN on June 4th now. Come check these two bands out, because they're awesome!
sorry for letting you know this late, but we also just heard it 2 days ago...
See you on the 4th of June!!!
here is LSM's statement about cancelling their tour:
"I'm really sorry to tell you this but Phabster's trial got extended again. He told me last Friday that this might be the case but I was hoping for the best. He was told yesterday that it’s now running into next week and won’t be finished until Wednesday 30 May. I'm so fucked off I could kill someone!
Unfortunately it's completely out of our hands. We've got a streak of bad luck since we came back from tour 12 months ago. Nothing seems to work out anymore. It's really disappointing that we have to let promoters, fans and support bands down.
We probably could have made up some other excuse which sounds better and more "RocknRoll" but I don't wanna bullshit you and just tell you how it is. Right now it looks like we can only do the last 3 shows starting in Paris.
Once again, I apologise to everyone involved for letting them down.
Right now I'm booking a tour for September. I hope that maybe some venues will be interested in re-booking us for then. Phabster will not have any trials in this period so the same shit will definitely not happen again.
Tor"

As you might have heard: The CURSED tour got cancelled. Here is the official statement from their booker:
Hello,
Unfortunately Cursed are forced to postpone their upcoming European Tour due to unavoidable family/ health issues. We will keep you informed about the new dates and get in touch as soon as they are confirmed. Cursed and Avocado thanks everyone for all the hard work you already put into promoting this show.
All the best Nanouk
We will try to book another show for them in the near future! Keep checking back for more info!
Friday May 12th:
Ok... This is probably going to sound a little crazy, but CUT CITY is still playing their show with ABOUT PARIS (A'dam) and THE HANDS (R'dam) on Thursday May 25th @ Winston Kingdom. They had to cancel their entire European Tour, but still wanted to go on "vacation" to Amsterdam and then play this show! Check them out if you like bands as JOY DIVISION, BLOC PARTY, MOVING UNITS and/or THE BRAVERY. It is going to be awesome, so make sure you'll be there!
Tuesday May 9th:
Some good and some bad news...
First the good:
We already have a lot of reservations for the BONES BRIGADE (usa), REGULATIONS (swe) and VITAMIN X (nl) show of upcoming Tuesday May 16th. The time schedule is very tight because we have to be done at 22.30, so be on time if you don't want to miss anything!
It is going to be as followed:
20.00: Doors open
20.30 - 20.55: REGULATIONS
21.10 - 21.35: VITAMIN X
21.50 - 22.20: BONES BRIGADE
22.30: Curfew
Now the bad news:
CUT CITY had to cancel their upcoming European Tour. This means that they will not play in Winston Kingdom on May 25th. We are looking for a replacement which will be announced on this website ASAP.
Here is the official statement we got from CUT CITY's bookings agency:
Hi all there, I am sorry to inform you that CUT CITY cancelled their forthcoming tour. The cancellation is mostly due to financial reasons as the band had to get a new van last minute, which would be two time more expensive than the one they were about to use and also the fact that their forthcoming full length should be ready in time for the tour, but they were told yesterday that the pressing plant won´t be able to do it in time. Without them they won´t have any merch, besides some shirts, to sell.
The band and I totally regret that this is happen and we all know that you all are doing your best to make all this happen.
We will reschedule the tour in Fall 2006. In time for that tour the full length will be released on GSL. Regards, Matthias
Tuesday April 4th:

Tuesday January 31st:
It’s a long time ago since we’ve added some news in this section. So here we go…
- As you can see we have a lot of shows coming up the next few months and it’s getting more and more every day. Get back often for new (support) bands and other info.
- The Complete Control Showcase was a crazy one! It was a sold out show, but we didn’t have to refuse anyone at the door… PERFECT! We would like to thank the following people for making this happen: Complete Control Records, Dead Stop, Justice, Restless Youth, Birds Of A Feather, Eline, DJ Ernesto, Thomas “The Penguin” Malkovich and off course everyone who came to the show!
- SINCE BY MAN cancelled their entire European Tour, which would take place in May. That meens, they will not play at Winston Kingdom on May 18th. This is the statement we got from their booker Avocado: “Since By Man need to postpone their planned European Tour. After the split up of Bear vs. Shark no proper replacement could be found for this tour. Therefore the band decided to hit the European shores sometime later this year. Thanks for all the hard work you already put into this. We will be in touch as soon as the new dates are confirmed.”
This was it for now. Hope to see you all soon in Winston Kingdom and/or Bitterzoet!
